League Bowling is a great way to get active and stay healthy. No matter what age you are, we have a league to suit your needs. From a “Chuck and Giggle” with the girls to serious competition, no experience is necessary to start enjoying league play. Join a Team or make your own. Free Coaching is available as we are not happy until you are bowling the best you can be.
League Bowling allows you to make new friends in a relaxed, social club atmosphere. If you are looking to join a league, we have a league to suit every time and skill level, from beginners to experts. We have a wide range of league types available for you to choose. Team sizes range from Singles, Doubles, up to 4 person teams and their focus span from serious competition to social clubs who travel around all the bowling centres in south east Queensland and Northern NSW.
There’s more to it than you think
League Bowling, as a sport, is very similar to golf: It is a game of precision and consistency. To bowl well, you need to be able to hit a spot on the lane within a few centimetres. You also need to be able to adjust to changing lane conditions as the game progresses. Yes, the lanes react differently, the more you bowl on them. Therein lies the skill you need to be a champion bowler.
You don’t need your own equipment in order to start League Bowling, but of course we can measure and drill your own ball to make your bowling the most comfortable and natural it can be.in
CLUB MEMBERSHIP
Once you belong to a league, you are also eligible to join the Coolangatta Tweed Tenpin Club.
For just: $50.00 p.a.
Membership entitles you to the following benefits:
Registration with Tenpin Bowling Australia – The national bowling body.
$6.50 practice games for League members.
Your scores and statistics are held on record in the national database. This also allows you to bowl in nationally ranked tournaments.
